As you may know, we previously launched an official Workr Beeing community through Memberful and Discord. We have been so excited to take all of the amazing conversations and relationships we’ve built onto a more formal platform. We want to continue to build our community and give you all opportunities to connect. Read on to learn more about the community and how to find out more!
The Importance of Community
As humans, we need social connection. We are social creatures that thrive in communities. We’ve talked about some of this research before here and here. Basically, having social support and connection to others helps our wellness. It can help with our recovery after a long day or make us feel less alone when going through something tough. Getting support from others can also help us cope with challenges and think of new ways to get around a problem.
To help provide a supportive community around a common goal, we created the formal Workr Beeing Community! We have had a lot of great one-off conversations with folks and hosted some great events with deep discussions. However, we haven’t had a great way to keep those connections going. With our new community, our members will gain access to a private Discord server. Basically, think Slack with all of your Workr Beeing friends and the two of us! You can come ask us anything, crowd source ideas to help support your workplace wellness, or make new friends with a common interest.
We cannot wait to get to know you all better in the community!
The Future of Workplace Wellness Research
In addition to building social support, we are so excited to be conducting groundbreaking research on workplace wellness. In all of the work we are doing for Workr Beeing, we’ve identified a number of gaps in the research and we want to answer those questions! We believe that everything we are doing will support and guide the future of workplace wellness research.
Since you all inspired us to do this work, we will be sharing first peeks into our research with our community members! Join the community and get access to our finding first and exclusive tools as we develop them. We are so excited for where this new research will lead!
If you want to learn more about our community, sign up here. We look forward to chatting with you soon!
